Our Story

Our story begins in Toorak, Melbourne, Australia. 

Originally from the U.K and with Indian roots, our owner has a love of travel, wellness and adventure. After years of working in London, she followed her heart to Australia in 2019 for a sunnier, brighter life.

Fast forward less than a year later, and the global pandemic hit.

Stuck in the city that endured the world's longest lockdown, and over 10,000 miles from home, a new creative outlet was found - candle-making. 

 

With a lust for travel and hope for the future, Toorak Candle Co. was born.   

About Our Collections 

Our carefully curated collections of scented Destination Candles and Wax Melts are designed to evoke emotions, unlock memories and inspire travel. 

Born from the stories of real adventures, each candle is uniquely paired with a premium fragrance blend that captures the true essence of the destination.  

Our minimal designs leave space for your imagination. A blank canvas for you to begin your journey from. An opportunity for escapism.

Our Ingredients 

Our products are clean-burning, eco-friendly and made from ethically sourced ingredients. We use unbleached cotton wicks, vegan-friendly fragrances and high quality re-usable containers.

We use a sustainable and premium 100% natural plant-based wax. Made only from coconut oil and rapeseed oil, our wax is vegan-friendly, cruelty free and free from soy, paraffin, beeswax and palm oils. 

Now firmly back on home roots, all of our candles and wax melts are hand poured in small batches in the U.K.
